Pool Use and Rules
Pool Rules
1. No glass on the pool deck, gated areas, or tennis courts - this includes tempered glass goggles. Disobeying this rule could result in fines up to $1000.
2. No pets in the pool area or on tennis courts.
3. No running or horseplay.
4. Please remind your child to look before jumping into the pool. (There was an incident where a child was injured after another child jumped on top of them.)
5. No shoulder-sitting or "chicken fights"
6. No jumping backwards, back dives, or back flips from the deck or the diving board.
7. No diving in water less than 9 feet deep.
8. No profanity or public intoxication.
9. No smoking of any type (No Vaping/Electronic Cigarettes, etc.) allowed on club property.
10. Diving Board
a. Only one person on the diving board at any time.
b. No catching of small children off the diving board.
c. No one may swim in the diving area while the diving board is being used.
11. Children under/over 12
a. Children 12 and over may be unaccompanied at the pool but can be asked to leave at the lifeguards’ discretion.
b. Children under 12 must have adult supervision at the pool at all times.
12. No children under the age of 18 may swim in or sit on the edge of the main pool during safety break.
13. Infants and Children who are not potty trained must wear a sealed swim diaper (NO regular diaper) when in the water, at all times.
14. Parents should stay within arm’s reach of young children at all times - this includes children using flotation devices.
15. Splash Pool
a. This pool is reserved for children ages 6 and younger and is a swim at your own risk area.
b. NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY in this pool. Adult supervision is REQUIRED.
c. NO DIVING and NO hanging on water features.
d. NO chairs allowed in splash pool
16. Pool Floats/Toys
a. No floats allowed at the pool on holidays
b. No mermaid tails allowed in the pool area
c. Only "soft" balls are allowed in pool and may be asked to remove/not throw if crowded
d. Squirt toys may not be used on the deck. Please keep them in the pool and be courteous of where you are aiming water.
e. Lifeguards may ask you to remove items due to safety or respect to others.
17. Picnic tables under the covered area are for dining only. They should not be reserved for parties or used for all-day lounging.
18. Do not "hold" tables or chairs for yourself, other members or guests when not on the premises.
19. Pool parties of seven or more people must be registered with Carolina Pool Management at least 2 weeks in advance and may use the lower Trex deck for free (guest fees apply). Unregistered parties may be asked to reschedule their event if there is a conflict.
20. Members and guests must respect and obey the lifeguards and club staff at all times, or they will be asked to leave the facility.
21. Only scheduled staff are allowed behind the guard desk or in the guard closet.
22. Pick up your area and dispose of all trash before you leave. Note: Please use the red bins for any recyclable goods.
23. The lap lane is for those guests wishing to swim laps. Please do not play in this area if someone is lap swimming.

During busy pool times, a red flag will be displayed from the lifeguard chairs to indicate a Cautionary Swim Session.
Our goal is to display a Green Flag for the majority of the season, promoting safe and fun swimming for everyone.
